My cousins came home (they're military and live out west) last month and we enjoyed such a wonderful couple of weeks getting our kids together!
So of course we had to make time for family photos too:) Especially since there was an addition since their last visit home!
Here's the thing. It was hot. And I mean brutally HOT. They hung in there though and praise God we did the family ones first! HAHA! Irelynn's beautiful blonde hair was drenched from the humidity and sweat not long after we started.

Tori and I got together AFTER her prom to do her prom mini session. You know how it is on the day of prom....CRAZY busy. So it just worked out better for us to take the stress away and shoot another day:) And that's totally ok!
We met up in Chatham and used local scenery for these images. It had even started to rain a little, but you can't tell. SO thankful for that!

Prom mini sessions are a great way to capture you and your gorgeous dress! Even if you don't shoot them on the day of prom:)
Franklin's Mom contacted me to book last minute senior pictures for him, which I was happy to oblige. What I didn't know what how much sophistication he would bring with him:) This session was such a breath of fresh air, as it was SO different from all of the other guy shoots I've done! We included soccer and his college, but the blazer and bowtie were my absolute favorite!! Franklin is a 2016 senior from Carlisle School.

Valentine's Day is coming up...and so I decided to get my crew together for a fun, downtown shoot! I'm glad that we had planned for last weekend considering this weekend's weather! And they thought it was cold last weekend! HA!
Alyssa is a 2015 senior at Chatham Hall and one of Megan Bryant Photography's 2015 senior models. Her senior portrait session was extremely unique because we got to use the grounds on her campus. Chatham Hall has a beautiful campus and the day was perfect for photos...we dodged a few storm clouds, but it all worked out! She is such a lovely young lady. Enjoy a few favorites from her day:

Brooke's senior photo session was definitely a memorable one. She's a girl who knows who she is and wanted to showcase that in her photos. We started her session on the softball field at DRHS . Brooke is a ball player right down to her bones, so of course we had to spotlight that:) She also has a true love that goes by the name Jeep! LOL...girls and their rides, right? We finished up Brooke's portraits out in the Chatham area. Here are a few faves from her portrait session:

This past month has seriously flown by...way too fast! Christmas is just around the corner! We're wrapping up Thanksgiving get-togethers, eating leftovers, and pulling out the Christmas decorations. Where did this month go?! November wasn't quite as insanely booked as last month, thank goodness, but I did get to photograph some awesome seniors! There were a few other sessions too:) Here are some favorites from the month:
My seniors were gorgeous as always:) Morgan's shoot was downtown and I just love how this wind-blown one turned out!
Chelsi's senior session was full of the beautiful fall colors.
Peyton knew what she was doing when she paired the stripes with the quilted vest! Such a great fall fashion statement! I love the boots and the socks as well:)
As I stated earlier, I got to shoot more than just seniors this month:) Lindsay's teen style session included lots of dance! I love the movement in this photo:
Eric and Dulce are like seriously the world's most attractive couple...we had such a great time shooting their engagement portraits despite all the wind!
The Seays will be welcoming their little bundle after Christmas!
Faith and her boys make such a beautiful family. They were troopers for their chilly session.
Rae Anne & Kavon booked me again...this time for their engagement photos! And this time, there was a new addition to their family! Meet Jade, their beautiful pit:)

Lydia's session back in August took place around town (Chatham). We enjoyed walking around town discovering little nooks for her photos:) Lydia has such a natural beauty...and I love her short hair! It's not often that I shoot senior girls with short hair, but she totally pulls off the look! Lydia is a homeschool 2015 high school senior, whom also attends church with me! I love her and her family and was thrilled to shoot her senior photos:) Here are a few of our favorites from the day!

Sarah is such a sweetheart. I enjoyed working with her and shooting her senior portraits so much! Sarah is a 2015 senior at Chatham High School. Her senior photo session took place back in August. Katie at River City Salon and Spa styled Sarah's hair and makeup, and of course Sarah looked amazing! We shot her photos in the Chatham area and then finished up in town. I knew that the weather for the day would start off beautiful, but storms were on the way. We crossed our fingers!
Sarah had several different looks. I love it when there is variety to wardrobe, as well as location. Sarah definitely had both!
This image below was Sarah's favorite! It looked amazing enlarged to a 20x24 portrait!
Sarah should definitely check into modeling agencies...

Just as we wrapped up, the wind was picking up, so we knew a storm was near. We packed everything up and as we pulled off, the downpour began! I couldn't have timed that any more perfectly if I had tried! Sarah, your session was tons of fun, and I'm so glad that you chose me as your senior photographer! Best wishes on your senior year!
