So I have been behind on blogging...a couple weeks ago I was able to shoot Allie's 1 year photos. Allie's Mom, Kim, has been bringing her to us since she was born! I can't believe it's been a whole year...time sure flies!

Her faces are priceless! And she does so well being photographed! Kim, I hope she stays that way!

Lindsay | A Dance Styled Session | Danville, Virginia Photographer

We are so happy to have Lindsay on board as a 2014 senior model! Yesterday was a really cold day, but Lindsay was such a trooper for her dance styled session!Together we had chosen outfits and accessories to make her session a success. I honestly could photograph her everyday and never get tired of it...she is so gorgeous and so talented! There seriously was nothing that she wouldn't do...and she is extremely flexible! I've edited a few of my favorites from yesterday to share with you all, so enjoy!

And like I said, there was nothing she wouldn't do! Fierce!

I loved every outfit, but this one is probably my favorite...it just flows and puts off a vibe of its own. Lindsay, again, you look like a doll!

I've known Laura practically her whole life...everyone always thinks we're sisters. I take that as a huge compliment. I mean, wouldn't you want to be confused as the sister of this gorgeous gal? Laura wanted to do a model session over her winter break to build her portfolio, so we had some fun. Was a cloudy day, so look for us to do another session in the future with more sun:)

Seth is a 2013 Senior at Dan River High School. We only had to reschedule 5 times to get this session done! CRAZY! But, we were blessed with a beautiful day for his session. Seth is so photogenic, and was a pleasure to work with! Something that isn't said about too many senior guys!

Emily | 2013 Senior | Chatham, Virginia Photographer

Emily was quite the tough girl...it was freezing outside for her senior session, but she was a trooper! We got some lovely photos...she has the most beautiful eyes! Emily wanted a downtown session, she that's what we did:)

I had to do this pose...she was so cold, so the scarf was fitting. It turned out to be one of my favorites from the whole session. She isn't smiling, but I think that is why I like the photo so much. I am drawn into her eyes...

And this one is def a wall hanger;)

Emily | 2013 Gretna Senior | Gretna, Virginia Photographer

Emily is a 2013 Senior at Gretna High. She and her Mom were so excited about her session, as were we! Emily has a great sense of style...her Mom said she felt like they were going on vacation with everything they packed for the session! I mean, she only had 8 pairs of shoes! LOL! We had so much fun though...I had a hard time, once again, narrowing down to a few favorites, so here are several:) Yet again, another gorgeous senior!

We started downtown, after the fabulous Katie Mosher did her makeup at Genesis Day Spa.

She reminds me a beautiful Indian princess here...

She said, "I feel like a sophisticated business woman in this outfit!" Well honey, you were working it!

Every woman should own a red pair of heels...

 And of course a little country flair...

She said she wanted unique props...so I let her use my antique camera score:) Brownie!

Emily plays softball for GHS and for Diamond Fever...she wanted to do this pose, and used many of her game balls. Each one of those is dated and marked with the game. Such a great way to remember those special moments!

Emily plans to attend Roanoke after graduation, where she will play softball. And check out that bling! Her state championship ring from 2010.

Love all of the color here...

And here is a concept that I wanted Emily to model...a Boho kind of feel. LOVE the way it turned out!

Makayla | 2013 Gretna Senior | Gretna, Virginia Photographer

Makayla is yet another GORGEOUS senior that we have had the honor of photographing! And not only that, she has the BEST personality! So fun! Makayla was so excited about her session, and it definitely showed when we met up:) There is nothing a photographer likes more than an enthusiastic client! Makayla rocked each and every pose...to a tee. I told her she needs to get involved with pageants because she could totally go all the way!

Kattie | 2013 Gretna Senior | Gretna, Virginia Photographer

Kattie is yet another beautiful senior that I've had the honor of photographing this year. Kattie's friend, Marissa, our first 2013 Senior, talked her into booking with me after she tagged along on her session:) So, I had already met Kattie prior to her session, and I knew she was going to be tons of fun! I loved her use of accessories, her hair color (it was lighter the last time I saw her), and her willingness to pose however I asked her to! I am not quite finished with her session, but here are a few favorites so far...I had a hard time narrowing them down!

Of course, as always, field shots are some of my favorites! Look how warm the light was! I was in LOVE...I could shoot there everyday and not get tired of it:)

When I told Kattie that I wanted to try a hat with her, she was hesitant at first..."I don't like hats!" I told her just try it...I must say, we were both happy with the results. I told her she might as well start wearing one everyday since she works it so well! :)

Yep, Kattie is a baller! She also plays volleyball! Quite the athlete:)
