As I'm sure most of you are VERY aware of, we've been experiencing LOTS of rain here in Virginia....for really, the past TWO WEEKS. [I want summer back, WAHHHH!] And with lots of rain comes rescheduled photo sessions. Kayley however, was up for the challenge of shooting in the rain. Yes, this was all HER idea! We were blessed to have a break in the rain that evening, which allowed me to shoot and not get wet:) Although, it was actually rather humid, so I was sweating while we shot these! Kayley is a 2016 senior at Chatham and a member of my model team. She has gorgeous blue eyes and is such a joy to be around:) Kayley planned out the boots and the clear umbrella...we walked around town and just had fun! Enjoy a few of my favorites...

I'm glad that Kayley encouraged me to shoot senior portraits for her that were a little out of the box...so refreshing to do something totally different!
