Levi | Newborn | Danville, Virginia Newborn Photographer

So, I am going to use my time on maternity leave to catch up on blogging, but I thought that I would go ahead and share this lovely newborn lifestyle session with you! I visited with this wonderful family today...and dropped off some pretty amazing photo products as well! Levi was born on May 24. I had the pleasure of photographing him at 10 days old! Since I'm expecting, I haven't been taking on newborn sessions. However, when the Hilliards called, I did offer to do a lifestyle newborn session for them instead. They loved the idea, and it definitely made the session more personal by being able to do it in their own home! They are truly amazing people, and I'm so glad to have made new friends through working for them:)

I got to hear a lot about their "story" during their session...this sweet couple has been trying for 7 years to have a baby. Praise the Lord for this bundle of joy!

4th of July session | Chatham, Virginia Senior Photographer

Corey is my CHS senior model, and a lovely one at that! We decided to get together for a fun shoot for the 4th. She took my vision and found the outfits herself, and we went from there. This was more of a mini-session, as we were fighting the rain to get it done! Here are a few of my favorites:

Yates~Hepburn Wedding | Danville, Virginia Wedding Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing Chelsea & Tim's wedding on May 25th. I'm finally getting around to sharing some of my favorites from their ceremony! They had such a beautiful, simple wedding behind her parents home. It was so intimate...just perfect! Chelsea and Tim met at college, Liberty University. Tim recently graduated and is now serving in the Army as a field artillery officer. Chelsea plans to complete her final year at Liberty online, as they moved to Oklahoma 2 days after the wedding to start their new life together! You may remember seeing Chelsea's bridals on the blog...if you missed those, you will definitely want to check those out!

Here are a few highlights from their ceremony:

Chelsea's brother drove her up on the red Ford truck:) He got her out of the truck and handed her over to their Dad. So sweet!

Chelsea | Bridal Session | Danville, Virginia Bridal Photographer

I am so thrilled to finally be able to share this session! I shot Chelsea's wedding this past Saturday, but we had a bridal session for her back in April! She is one of the most gorgeous brides that I have ever seen...and I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to do this session! I don't usually do many bridal sessions, since I don't shoot many weddings. BUT I LOVE BRIDAL SESSIONS! Seriously, call me if you're interested!

This session was so much fun! Lindsay and Corey are 2014 MBP Senior Models and were perfect for this shoot. We got some great shots despite the overcast weather...I'm glad we went on with the session though because it rained for like a week after we did this shoot! The flower crowns were made by yours truly:)
