Yesterday I spent the evening shooting Brandon Meadows...many of you locals know how musically talented he is. I was excited to work with Brandon to get shots for him to use for shows and flyers and to send out to potential bookings. We had such a nice day for photos...we were so happy to not be freezing! Brandon had 2 different guitars and several outfits, so we shot away!

So, my husband, son, and I went over to a friends house for a Super Bowl party last night. I didn't really care who won the game...our teams weren't playing so it was just whatever. Although, we would have rather seen the 49ers pull off the win! With that said, many of us just watch the Super Bowl for the commercials and half-time show. I'm not really up for discussing the half-time show, so let's talk commercials!!
My number one fave was this one: Audi prom
I don't know about you, but if I were her, I would have left with him;) That took guts!

This one seems to be a hit with pretty much everyone...I thought that it was rather funny...
Then there were those that tugged at your heartstrings...

We are so happy to have Lindsay on board as a 2014 senior model! Yesterday was a really cold day, but Lindsay was such a trooper for her dance styled session!Together we had chosen outfits and accessories to make her session a success. I honestly could photograph her everyday and never get tired of it...she is so gorgeous and so talented! There seriously was nothing that she wouldn't do...and she is extremely flexible! I've edited a few of my favorites from yesterday to share with you all, so enjoy!

I've known Laura practically her whole life...everyone always thinks we're sisters. I take that as a huge compliment. I mean, wouldn't you want to be confused as the sister of this gorgeous gal? Laura wanted to do a model session over her winter break to build her portfolio, so we had some fun. Was a cloudy day, so look for us to do another session in the future with more sun:)

You heard it right...CONTEST!! I've selected my favorites from our Class of 2013 Senior sessions. By going to my Facebook page, seniors and their family and friends can vote for their photo by "liking" the photo in the Class of 2013 Senior Contest album. Feel free to "share" your photo on your page in order to gain more "votes." This contest will run from this evening, 1/2/13, until Sunday evening, 1/6/13 at 8 PM. The winner will be announced shortly after. You must also be a fan of my page, so in order for your vote/"like" to count, you must have "liked" the MBP page as well!
2012 also brought on a great opportunity for me...I was chosen to work for the Senior Style Guide blog. Before beginning my "work" with them, one of my senior's photos was published on their blog, and in the 2nd issue of their magazine! This senior was Cassidy, a 2013 Senior from Gretna High!
I guess you're wondering what the contest prize is?! The senior whose photo has the most "likes" at 8PM on Sunday, will win 25 free custom photo Graduation invitations! Our custom photo invitations are way more personal and make such a huge statement in comparison to the boring formal invitations that we all normally send out! Your friends and family will want to display your invitation in their home...not just toss it in a memory box.

2012 was definitely a turning point for my business. I am so thankful for this past year's learning experiences and for all of the clients who chose us! We are growing and can't wait to see what all the future holds!

So I'm finally getting to blog this session from the end of November...and it was quite a fabulous session! I love so many of their photos!
To tell you a little about JT and Mallory, they met back in high school. Mallory currently attends Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina as a communications major, minor in PR and journalism. JT works for Scearce Construction. Their wedding is set for May 3, 2014!

Brande was one of my amazing teachers in high school. We were more than happy to do a family session for her:) Although, hurricane Sandy did kind of mess up our original plans. Nonetheless, we had a lovely day for their session. They are such a fun family!

Seth is a 2013 Senior at Dan River High School. We only had to reschedule 5 times to get this session done! CRAZY! But, we were blessed with a beautiful day for his session. Seth is so photogenic, and was a pleasure to work with! Something that isn't said about too many senior guys!
