Kaitlyn asked me to shoot some headshots of her, and of course I'm more than happy to help out my senior models:) We enjoyed an evening in Chatham shooting them! Here are a few of my favorites from the day...and if you know me, you know that I can't just shoot only headshots:)
Unfortunately, Kaitlyn was in a car accident that kept her away during my Americana model session. So we had to do a few shots for that too:)

I have had the honor of being chosen as a project winner on the Chic Critique Forum twice over the summer! SO exciting! Chic Critique is a blog/magazine/forum for women photographers. On their forum, they offer creativity projects, where each winner will be featured on the blog and sometimes published in the magazine!

So last month, I got to work with Vickie Black, the owner of Jeremy & Vickie Photographers as well as Senior Style Guide, and Kristie Bradley of Kristie Bradley Photography! Together we led a shootout/portfolio build for senior photographers. It was so much fun! The weather was not too hot, as I had expected, and the attendees were so excited to learn from us! They came from areas in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina! We started things off with a one hour Q&A, where the attendees were able to ask us anything they wanted to! Then the real fun began with shooting 4 teen/senior models with different styles in various areas of downtown Richmond. Kristie provided the models for us, and they were absolutely amazing! I spent most of my time helping the attendees get their shots, but here are a couple of shots that I managed to squeeze in:)
