This summer has been a busy one! And until I can blog each session, I thought I would share a quick recap of this summer's senior sessions and some of my favorite images so far from those sessions! I took Bri out for a senior model session in the wildflower field, and had some fun with this scarf. She's a 2016 senior model from Dan River and sooo photogenic.

Who doesn't love summer, a floppy hat, and dancing in the wildflowers?! It was hot, but Bri was up for anything I wanted to shoot:)

Erika is a 2016 senior from Tunstall High School. I loved these boho shorts...

I just love it when I can capture laughter like this!

The only thing better than a floppy hat in a wildflower field is a floppy hat in a sunflower field! LOVED this shot of Kayla, a 2016 senior from Chatham High School. Her eyes are just killer!

Bre came to me all the way from Richmond, Virginia! I was so thrilled to shoot some fun senior pictures that showcased her likes and personality!

Bre got that hat at a Taylor Swift concert...so cute!

This fierce shot was everyone's favorite from Bre's senior portrait session.

Monica is a 2016 senior from Gretna High School. We shot photos with her Jeep, which is pretty fab. Her professional hair and makeup was absolutely gorgeous! I love the chic country girl look, with those teal boots and accessories!

We wrapped up her session before the rain poured in downtown Chatham, VA.

I also got to shoot Bri's senior portrait session this summer. She says, "ball is life." So we had to showcase her love of softball and the Dan River Wildcats! Isn't she breathtaking?!

Gabby is a 2016 senior from Carlisle. I absolutely LOVED her senior session. She is such a simple, sweet soul...these shots are probably my faves from this season so far:) Sunflare always makes my heart flutter...

Grayson is a 2016 senior from Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, but what makes him unique is that he is a stock car racer! I mean really, it's not often that I get to photograph someone like that! He was a pleasure to work with, and his sister made a lovely assistant:)

Cody is a 2016 senior from Altavista Combined School. He loves to hunt, so we had to incorporate that into his portraits:) I knew this one would be a fave when I shot it:)

The fall busy season is approaching fast! Can't wait to share more of these sessions with you. I promise to eventually catch up on blogging! I WILL.
