Fall is here and with that comes cooler temps. As I was browsing Polyvore, I thought that I would share some of my findings with you all:) There are some new trends this year and I kinda just like fashion so yea, I wanted to share and talk about it! HA!
Sometimes, its just hard to let go of summer. I know it has been very hard for me this year. I just didn't want the sunshine, tan lines, and pool time to end! If this is the case for you too, layering is a great option. One thing I do is just add a jacket....yep, shorts on and throw on a jacket.
Maybe you're a simple gal who doesn't like to go over the top with her outfits. Graphic tees are awesome (and fun) and go with anything! Jeans, shorts, even some skirts.
One thing that is on trend for this fall is velvet. And this is with everything...tops, bottoms, shoes, etc. And I really love the merlot/burgundy color palette so this set is so rich:)
I've also noticed that chokers are on trend this season. And they've already made an appearance at a senior session!
Where are my boot lovers at? You just can't go wrong in the fall with boots. Add a little sass with boot socks/cuffs:)
So yea, I may not wanna let go of summer, but I can definitely have fun with fall fashion no matter the style! And of course, a good variety is fun for your senior session too, right?! I always get excited to see the layered pieces that are brought to senior photo shoots:) Boots, scarves, leggings, sweaters, jackets, vests, hats, everything!
Which set above is your fave??

Franklin's Mom contacted me to book last minute senior pictures for him, which I was happy to oblige. What I didn't know what how much sophistication he would bring with him:) This session was such a breath of fresh air, as it was SO different from all of the other guy shoots I've done! We included soccer and his college, but the blazer and bowtie were my absolute favorite!! Franklin is a 2016 senior from Carlisle School.
Here are a few images from his downtown senior session in Chatham:
Franklin is headed to Florida this fall!
Franklin and his Mom were such a pleasure to work with! I can't wait for them to see their gorgeous custom products.
I am definitely looking forward to the 2017 senior season. Summer and fall are both filling fast, so be sure to contact me ASAP to reserve your spot:) Just hit the contact tab at the top of the page!

Bryce is a 2016 Gretna senior who I had the pleasure of working with in the fall (and shooting his family photos too). We got together again to shoot spring ball photos out on the ball field. Bryce is a catcher for the Hawks baseball team...
It's a brand new year...2016 is here!! As if you missed the memo. I see posts everywhere about celebrations, regrets, and change. I felt the need to share my reflections on 2015 and how those reflections led me into a better business plan for 2016.
As I'm sure most of you are VERY aware of, we've been experiencing LOTS of rain here in Virginia....for really, the past TWO WEEKS. [I want summer back, WAHHHH!] And with lots of rain comes rescheduled photo sessions. Kayley however, was up for the challenge of shooting in the rain. Yes, this was all HER idea!
Sometimes, I just need a creative boost or even just some time to shoot for myself...this was one of those times. I love it when I can work with my models one on one...and this session didn't disappoint me:)
This summer has been a busy one! And until I can blog each session, I thought I would share a quick recap of this summer's senior sessions and some of my favorite images so far from those sessions!
Meet Joshua. He's a 2016 senior from Gretna High and also on my model team. Joshua is such a breath of fresh air. It's not often that you run into seniors, let alone senior guys, who are firm in their faith and don't hesitate to stand for what they believe in.
Spring seems to finally be arriving, after what seemed like a never-ending winter! Florals are definitely among my favorites in current fashion trends. This week, Senior Style Guide shared outfits of the day with a floral theme. I loved them all and wanted to share them! Floral rompers are definitely on trend for this spring and summer...
Head on over to Senior Style Guide's blog HERE to view the other 2 outfits, as well as where you can purchase each piece!
Ahhh, I love florals! Happy Spring, everyone!
Stay Stylish, Megan
Alyssa is a 2015 senior at Chatham Hall and one of Megan Bryant Photography's 2015 senior models. Her senior portrait session was extremely unique because we got to use the grounds on her campus. Chatham Hall has a beautiful campus and the day was perfect for photos...we dodged a few storm clouds, but it all worked out! She is such a lovely young lady. Enjoy a few favorites from her day:
The campus had such gorgeous landscaping to complement Alyssa's outfits!
One of my fave photos ever...
She brought along this hat, so I just had to do a shot like this:)
Alyssa, working with you is always a pleasure:) I wish you the best with your future endeavors!
Class of 2015 seniors, it's not too late to book a session! Contact me today!

Brooke's senior photo session was definitely a memorable one. She's a girl who knows who she is and wanted to showcase that in her photos. We started her session on the softball field at DRHS . Brooke is a ball player right down to her bones, so of course we had to spotlight that:) She also has a true love that goes by the name Jeep! LOL...girls and their rides, right? We finished up Brooke's portraits out in the Chatham area. Here are a few faves from her portrait session:
She has such a killer smile:) A true natural beauty!
I had that scarf with me and threw it on over her blue dress...PERFECT combo:) The shot above was Brooke's Mom's favorite from the day:)
Thanks so much for choosing me as your senior photographer, Brooke! I hope the rest of your senior year is a great time:)
